Spokeswoman: 1 of 4 victims in downtown office stabbing spree works for Ohio AG DeWine
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) ' One of four victims stabbed in a downtown office building in Ohio is employed by the state's attorney general.
Attorney General Mike DeWine's spokeswoman says Wednesday that she couldn't provide further details about the victim at the family's request.
Police say the man's stabbing spree began in the admissions office of a technical school before an officer shot the suspect. Four people were critically hurt, including the suspect. A fifth had minor injuries.
The 25-story building also houses the attorney general's offices. DeWine's office isn't there, and he wasn't present.
Spokeswoman Lisa Hackley says employees are being evacuated from the building and sent home because the lobby is a crime scene, not because there's a threat.
More than 100 employees of the attorney general's office works at the building.
