2 workers injured while dismantling crane that collapsed at National Cathedral
WASHINGTON (AP) ' Two workers have been injured at the Washington National Cathedral as they were dismantling a crane that collapsed on the grounds a day earlier.
Cathedral spokesman Richard Weinberg says two men were injured Thursday afternoon and were taken away by ambulance. Weinberg says it's not clear what caused the injuries or how severely the men were injured.
An investigation is under way to determine what caused the massive crane to topple over Wednesday morning. It had been brought in to repair earthquake damage at the cathedral.
