By DMO Affiliate
WHAT DOES FULL OUT BADMINTON SWINGING LOOK LIKE? [intense badminton] NOW THAT YOU HAVE THAT IMAGE IN YOUR HEAD, IMAGINE HOW DISAPPOINTING IT WOULD BE TO WATCH OLYMPIC BADMINTON ATHLETES SERVING THE BIRDIE LIKE GRANDMA SHERRON.[grandma sherron swinging and missing]APPARENTLY 8 PLAYERS FROM 3 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, OF WOMEN'S OLYMPIC BADMINTON, DELIBERATELY WEREN'T TRYING HARD ENOUGH WHEN SWINGING THE RACKETS IN AN ATTEMPT TO LOSE, AND IT WAS DISGRACEFUL TO EVERYONE WATCHING. NEEDLESS TO SAY ALL 8 OF THEM, INCLUDING THE TOP TWO PLAYERS, HAVE BEEN THROWN OUT AND CHARGED WITH DEMEANING THE SPORT OF BADMINTON, WHICH IS DEPRESSING IN AND OF ITSELF.ACCORDING TO SOUTH KOREA'S HEAD COACH, "THE CHINESE STARTED THIS." THEY SAY THE CHINESE WORLD CHAMPION TEAM WAS TRYING TO AVOID PLAYING AGAINST THE NUMBER 2 CHINA TEAM BEFORE THE GOLD MATCH...AND THEN INDONESIA AND SOUTH KOREA STARTED TRING TO LOSE TOO, IN AN ATTEMPT TO STOP THE CHINESE FROM SUCCEEDING IN THEIR MASTER PLAN OF BADMINTON WORLD DOMINANCE. THEN AGAIN IF A SCANDAL IS GOING TO BREAK OUT...NO ONE SHOULD BE SURPRISED THAT IT'S IN THE EVENT WHERE PLAYERS ARE GOING AFTER SOMETHING CALLED A SHUTTLECOCK.Eight Olympic Badminton players have been accused and banned for trying to throw their matches in women's doubles by playing poorly. This is an embarrassment to the Olympics, and to the sport of badminton. badminton olympics "olympics 2012" banned disqualified "trying to lose" poor play "olympic badminton" "olympics badminton" "summer olympics 2012" "summer olympics" sports "sports news" "olympics news" news "video news" "news online" "one minute news" omn "Jennifer Martin"http://bit.ly/R7iz2j
