Adidas Creates Shoe with Twitter Built In for Athletes to Tweet During Competitions

Adidas created the red adiPower Barricade shoe that is integrated with Twitter. The shoes are a tribute to the 2012 London Olympics, which were the first games held under a social media frenzy. The Barricade, a concept shoe, was developed with the idea that athletes could have more interaction with their fans, including tweeting from an event. Patrick Jones wonders if that's necessary.
