AP ENTERPRISE: Hey, you look familiar _ clustering of majors common among BCS football schools
ATLANTA (AP) ' College football players spend a lot of time together on the practice field.
They also see each other a lot in the class room.
The Associated Press looked at the majors of the sophomores, juniors and seniors at 68 schools with major college football programs.
The AP found that at 39 schools, more than half the players are clustered into just a few majors, three or less. At Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Wake Forest and Baylor, more than half the non-freshmen are in a single major.
Critics see the clustering of athletes as the schools trying to graduate players the easiest way possible.
