Indiana baby dropped in field by tornado buried with parents, siblings in snowy cemetery
By The Associated Press

SALEM, Ind. (AP) ' A 15-month-old Indiana girl who clung to life for two days after being tossed by a tornado that killed her parents and two siblings has been buried with her family.

An American flag hung at half-staff as relatives of Angel Babcock gathered Monday in a snow-covered cemetery in Salem, Ind., for the private burial for the girl and her mother, father, 2-year-old brother and 2-month-old sister.

Angel died Sunday at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky., after suffering severe head injuries when a tornado struck her family's home in New Pekin, Ind., and swept her into a field.

Forty people in five states have died as a result of storms that spawned tornadoes throughout the Midwest and South on Friday.
