Blagojevich on flight to report to Colo. prison
Ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich flies out of Chicago to report to Colorado federal prison

CHICAGO (AP) ' Illinois' convicted ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich is on a flight to Denver to begin his 14-year prison term on corruption charges.

He must report to a federal prison in Colorado by 2 p.m. Thursday. His spokesman, Glenn Selig, says Blagojevich's plane has taken off from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Jurors convicted Blagojevich on 18 counts, including charges that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama's old U.S. Senate seat. He will be the state's second former governor to go to federal prison.
