Threatening, harassing phone call charges against NC star of MTV's "Teen Mom 2" are dropped
By The Associated Press

BOLIVIA, N.C. (AP) ' Charges of making threats and harassing phone calls have been dropped against the North Carolina woman who stars on the MTV reality show "Teen Mom 2."

The StarNews of Wilmington reports (http://bit.ly/GCIndA ) the charges against 21-year-old Jenelle Evans were dismissed this week in Brunswick County court in her home state.

Evans' attorney, Dustin Sullivan, says the woman who filed the charges decided she did not want to pursue them.

Evans is still embroiled in a legal dispute with her former boss, James Duffy. She has filed a cyberstalking complaint against him, and he responded by filing a cyberstalking complaint of his own.

The "Teen Mom" show documents the challenges of four teens' first years of motherhood.
