'Dancing' finale leads ABC to 2nd place in ratings
'Dancing With the Stars' finale gets 2nd place in ratings for ABC, which had other top 15 hits
By The Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) ' ABC is dancing its way up the television ratings charts.

The network finished second behind CBS in prime time viewership last week, helped by the final two episodes of "Dancing With the Stars." Actor and Army veteran J.R. Martinez won, with the last two episodes drawing just less than 20 million people.

Nielsen said ABC has managed to slightly increase its viewership this season even as stalwarts "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy" fade in the ratings.

The dramas "Castle" and "Once Upon a Time" both finished among Nielsen's top 15 prime-time shows last week. Other ABC shows, particularly those in the Wednesday night comedy block led by "Modern Family," are also doing well.
