Recharge your iPhone away from your computer or electrical outlet
Let's face it, the iPhone's battery is weak. With heavy use, the battery will lose its charge in less than a day. Fortunately, there are companies in the iPhone ecosystem that have tried to address this issue. One company, Mophie, offers a neat solution that essentially gives your iPhone close to double the battery life with an add on battery pack that also doubles as a protective case fot he phone. Another, Dexim takes an entirely different tack with its P-Flip Power Play Dock, which enables you to charge your iPhone.
Designed for iPhone 3GS/3G, and iPod Touch 1G and 2G, the P-Flip is composed of a docking station/ 2000mAh lithium polymer battery all in one neat device. Plug the P-Flip into your computer to charge its battery, then plug your iPhone into the P-Flip, and it charges the iPhone battery. The added benefit is it doubles as a desktop holder so you can view your media (it is rated at 8 hours of talk time and 15 hours of video, and 60 hours of music) without having to hold onto the iPhone or iPod touch. Pretty nifty for $54.95. www.dexim.net.
