Employees return to scene of deadly Southern California Edison office attack
LOS ANGELES (AP) ' Employees have begun returning to a Southern California Edison office where an employee killed two co-workers and himself last week.
Edison spokesman David Song says the Irwindale office reopened Tuesday morning although it's unclear how many of the 1,050 staff returned to work. He says grief counselors are available.
Employee Andre Turner killed two men and wounded a man and woman at the facility on Friday before turning the gun on himself.
Turner reportedly had been reprimanded for missing an audit deadline and was short-selling his home. However, the motive for the attack remains under investigation.
