After being in and out of the hospital for months due to complications from diabetes, AJ went back to work sooner than his doctors advised, only to be laid off a short time later. Now nearing retirement age, he's been unemployed for almost a year and is having a hard time finding work. After depleting half of their 401K, Linda, AJ's wife, took up nannying to help make ends meet. With a limited work history and her own medical issues, it's been difficult for Linda to land a full time job as well.
