Ex-SC Gov. Mark Sanford talks about his life since he left office in January
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) ' Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford says he has spent part of the last seven months working on his farm and he is not sure what he wants to do next.
Sanford left office in January, stung by an extramarital affair with Maria Belen Chapur, a woman in Argentina that he called his soul mate.
Sanford, a former congressman, appeared on Fox News Channel on Friday and told Sean Hannity that he blamed himself for the collapse of his marriage. The Republican said he wished he hadn't made his ex-wife Jenny the manager of his many campaigns.
Sanford said he has learned more about what women and men want in a romantic relationship. When asked later about Chapur, Sanford told The Associated Press that was a conversation for another time.
