Experts: Zimmerman should lay low, stop talking
As charges loom for Zimmerman in Trayvon Martin case, experts say he should stop talking
By The Associated Press

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) ' George Zimmerman has been out of touch and, his ex-lawyer says, "over the edge" over the Trayvon Martin case.

Now that officials say the neighborhood watch volunteer's arrest is imminent in the Florida shooting, experts have two words of advice: Stop talking.

Experts say Zimmerman can only make his case worse by talking too much.

Miami defense attorney Roy Kahn says Zimmerman could create conflicting versions of his story by telling it multiple times.

His ex-lawyers said that the neighborhood watch volunteer has alarmed them by leaving the state and not returning phone calls, talking to a television host and calling a state prosecutor on his own.

Charges against Zimmerman were expected to be announced at a 6 p.m. Wednesday news conference in Jacksonville, Fla.
