USM right-handed pitcher Nick Sandlin is back to his normal self, earning both Conference USA pitcher of the week and Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week for the third time this season. After missing a turn in the rotation, the junior strikeout machine came back with a limited pitch count on Saturday and still recorded 12 punch outs in five innings of work in a 8-0 victory over Middle Tennessee State in the series finale.
