Inflatable dome at W. Pa. university collapses
Inflatable dome at W. Pa. university collapses under high winds, no injuries reported
By The Associated Press

CARNOT-MOON, Pa. (AP) ' An inflatable dome at a Pittsburgh-area university has collapsed, but no one was injured.

Robert Morris University spokeswoman Kyle Fisher says that a microburst of high winds apparently tore the roof of the dome, causing it to collapse.

Fisher says about 10 people were inside at the time, but all escaped without injury. The dome is part of a larger sports complex that's located on an island in the middle of the Ohio River.

Fisher says the dome was about 80 feet high and the size of two soccer fields, and about 12 years old.

The complex is about 10 miles outside Pittsburgh.
