Isaac Leaves Oil Facilities Mostly Untouched

By DMO Affiliate
Hurricane Isaac is far from over, but it seem its effect on oil has been minimal. According to Reuters, the United State's gulf oil facilities were left mostly unaffected by the hurricane, driving oil prices down. In addition, oil inventories rose last week, lowering prices further. Oil has dropped 1.1% to $95.25 per barrel. Oil prices had gone up on Tuesday as refineries all along the gulf-coast were shutting down in anticipation of Isaac, lowering U.S. oil production to 10% capacity.
