James Murdoch says sorry to victims of phone hacking by the Newsa of the World

LONDON (AP) ' James Murdoch has apologized for phone hacking at the News of the World newspaper owner by his father Rupert's media empire.

James Murdoch told British lawmakers that "these actions do not live up to the standards our company aspires to."

The two men are being grilled before an appearance by their former U.K. newspaper chief, Rebekah Brooks.



Rupert Murdoch said it was "the most humble day of my life."
