Jansrud wins World Cup super-G race in Kvitfjell
Kjetil Jansrud finally triumphs with World Cup super-G win in Kvitfjell

KVITFJELL, Norway (AP) ' Kjetil Jansrud won the men's World Cup super-G race on the Olympic course Sunday.

The Norwegian skier finished in 1 minute, 34.02 seconds. His compatriot Aksel Lund Svindal was second, 0.21 behind, with Beat Feuz of Switzerland in third, 0.26 behind the winner.

It was a first World Cup win for Jansrud, who was beaten by the smallest of margins two days in a row.



He was third in Friday's super-G behind Feuz and Klaus Kroell, who tied for first. On Saturday, Kroell beat Jansrud into second place in the downhill.

Svindal extended his lead in the super-G standings over Switzerland's Didier Cuche, who finished fifth. Svindal leads Cuche by 37 points with one race remaining at the World Cup finals in Schladming, Austria.
