Judge weighing dueling proposals to modify Sandusky's bail, use of out-of-county jury
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) ' A hearing is under way in a Pennsylvania courtroom to help the judge in Jerry Sandusky's child sex-abuse case decide pretrial issues, including whether the former Penn State coach should be permitted to see his grandchildren or be confined to the inside of his home.
The proceeding Friday morning inside the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte is also expected to address Sandusky's request to have an outside jury hear his case.
Other matters Judge John Cleland must decide include how much information prosecutors should have to turn over to Sandusky's lawyers, and how quickly they have to do it.
Sandusky denies the allegations against him. There's no sign when a trial might occur.
