Lawyer: Norway suspect says he acted alone
Lawyer says his client told him he acted alone in Norway bombing, shooting

OSLO, Norway (AP) ' The lawyer for the suspect in Norway's bombing and shooting spree says his client has said he acted alone.

Police have charged Anders Behring Breivik with terrorism, blaming him for a bombing in downtown Oslo and a shooting spree at a youth retreat hours later.

Some witnesses have reported seeing a second assailant in the shooting attack. At least 85 people were killed there. Another seven were killed in the bombing.



Lawyer Geir Lippestad said Sunday his client has said he was alone.

Geir Lippestad says his client spent years writing a manifesto about his views. He was speaking to the broadcaster NRK Sunday.

Police have charged Anders Behring Breivik with terrorism, blaming him for a bombing in downtown Oslo and a shooting spree at a youth retreat hours later.
