CAIRO (AP) ' Egyptian state television says the prime minister has accepted the resignation of his finance and trade ministers and named at least four new Cabinet members as part of a reshuffle.

The move came on the back of protests demanding a purge of remnants of the former regime.

Prime Minister Essam Sharaf appointed two new deputies, including former U.N. official Hazem el-Biblawi, who will be finance minister.

Sharaf also appointed new health, transport, communication and higher education ministers.
