NC terror suspect scheduled for new plea hearing
Son of ringleader in North Carolina terrorism case due in court for new plea hearing
By The Associated Press

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) ' Another North Carolina man charged in an international terrorism plot has a new plea hearing.

Dylan Boyd is scheduled to be in federal court in Raleigh on Wednesday, nearly a month after pleading not guilty along with four others to felony charges from an alleged conspiracy to attack a U.S. Marine Corps base in Virginia and targets overseas.

All the defendants face life in prison if convicted of the most serious charges at a trial scheduled to start Monday.

Court documents do not show how the 24-year-old Boyd is supposed to plead Wednesday.

His 22-year-old brother Zakariya Boyd has pleaded guilty to a single conspiracy count. Their father and the accused ringleader, 41-year-old Daniel Patrick Boyd, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and conspiracy to murder.
