By DMO Affiliate
For your convenience, I'm gonna sum up all the major stuff that's going on today. James Holmes, the man accused of shooting a movie theater full of people seeing the Dark Knight Rises, made his first court appearance today. He didnt say anything...and showed up with his hair dyed to match what he told police after they arrested him outside the theater....that he was "the Joker." Defense will plead insanity, and sources say prosecutors will most likely seek the death penalty. The NCAA announced their punishments for Penn State today....besides banning them from the postseason for 4 years, they announced they're fining the school 60 million dollars for not doing anything about the self-proclaimed tickle monster Jerry Sandusky....and said that they will use the fine to help victims of child sex abuse. Also wildlife officials in Utah are really worried about a man roaming a mountain dressed up in a goat suit, because they say he could be mistaken as a goat by hunters. Or actual goats. Hunting season starts this September. Top headlines for today:Colorado theater shooting suspect makes first court appearanceNCAA Slams Penn State, Fines It $60 MillionOfficials work to identify 'goat man' seen trailing herd in Utah mountains
