By The Associated Press

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) ' The governing body of Olympic boxing will meet in January to discuss whether female fighters should wear skirts instead of shorts at the 2012 London Games.

The International Amateur Boxing Association says it has not decided on uniform rules for women, following media reports that it had.

AIBA's technical and rules commission will "offer recommendations" to the ruling executive committee. The boxing group is "seeking a consensus" from the boxing world and the public.
