Package shuts down part of San Francisco terminal
Suspicious package at San Francisco airport shuts down part of terminal; bomb squad on scene

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) ' Officials at San Francisco International Airport have shut down part of a terminal after a suspicious package was found.

Airport officials say the package was found in Terminal One around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

KTVU-TV reports (http://bit.ly/zKwVRL ) that one person has been detained.



A bomb squad is currently at the scene, and the boarding area for Delta Airlines flights has been evacuated.

Airport spokesman Mike McCarron told the San Francisco Chronicle (http://bit.ly/wq5RTt ) that passengers are being redirected to other boarding areas so they don't miss their flights.

A Delta spokesperson did not immediately return a call for comment.
