Philly teammates mow through AL All-Stars
Phillies teammates Halladay, Lee work 3 perfect innings to keep NL tied 0-0 in All-Star game
By The Associated Press

PHOENIX (AP) ' Philadelphia Phillies teammates Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee pitched three perfect innings, and the National League was locked in a scoreless tie with the American League early in the All-Star game on Tuesday night.

Halladay made quick work of the first two innings, holding the AL hitless. Lee followed him in the third and got three straight groundouts.

AL starter Jered Weaver worked around a walk in the first inning and was supposed to be replaced by Josh Beckett in the second, but the Boston right-hander never made it out of the bullpen because of lingering soreness from a left knee he strained his last start.
