Police arrest private school principal in California accused of fondling young girls
By The Associated Press

CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. (AP) ' Police have arrested a private elementary school principal on seven counts of child molestation dating back 15 years.

Police Chief Christopher Boyd says Robert Adams was arrested Wednesday morning at his Folsom home. He says Adams suffered a medical incident and was taken to a hospital.

Adams had run the Creative Frontiers School from 1975 until authorities shut it down in July. Boyd says the charges being filed by the Sacramento County district attorney's office involve seven separate victims at the school and that the most recent allegation is from June.

Adams and his attorney, Linda Parisi, have denied the allegations against him.

Boyd says the police investigation is continuing and there could be more charges.
