Police sought info in man's death from ex-sheriff
Denver police sought information on man found dead from ex-sheriff accused of drugs for sex
By The Associated Press

DENVER (AP) ' Denver investigators say they sought information in the unsolved death of a man from a former sheriff accused of giving drugs to a man in exchange for sex.

Detectives refused to say whether they questioned former Arapahoe County Sheriff Pat Sullivan or what information they sought in the Jan. 26 drowning death of 27-year-old Sean Moss.

Denver police say the case remains open because the coroner was unable to determine whether Moss' death was accidental, a suicide or homicide.

An autopsy found intoxication from meth and the rave drug known as liquid ecstasy, which is also date rape drug, contributed to Moss' death.

Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Friday that a detective contacted him in January for insight into Sullivan's personality before interviewing him about Moss.
