Police: India train crash kills 7
Police say train collision in southern India kills seven and injures 18

NEW DELHI (AP) ' Police say a train collision in southern India has killed at least seven people and injured 18 others.

Shalendra Babu, a senior police official, said one train was stopped at a signal Tuesday night when a second train crashed into it near the Indian city of Vellore.
