Principal seeks to clear name in molestation case
Attorney for Calif. principal charged with molestation says client confident he'll be cleared
By The Associated Press

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) ' The attorney for a principal charged with molesting seven girls at a private elementary school over the past 15 years said her client was shocked and saddened by his arrest.

Linda Parisi said Thursday that Robert Adams is confident he will be able to clear his name.

Adams, who is 60, was the owner and principal of Creative Frontiers School in the Sacramento suburb of Citrus Heights before it was abruptly shut down and he became the focus of a criminal investigation mid-July.

Police arrested him Wednesday on six felony counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts on children under 14 and one misdemeanor charge of annoying or molesting a child under 18.

Adams suffered chest pains when officers showed up at his door and was sent to the hospital.
