Romney, Gingrich talk jobs as Nevada caucuses loom
Dismissing good employment news, Romney and Gingrich criticize Obama ahead of Nev. caucuses
By The Associated Press

LAS VEGAS (AP) ' Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are pounding President Barack Obama for failing to do enough to create jobs as they campaign in Nevada a day before the state weighs in on the GOP presidential race.

With its sky-high unemployment and foreclosure rates, Nevada is ripe for talk of a GOP prescription for economic recovery.

The only problem for the Republicans? Positive economic news on Friday that showed a huge surge in hiring and a drop in the unemployment rate to its lowest level in three years.

Both Romney and Gingrich say Obama had little to do with the brightening economic picture and may, in fact, have stalled the recovery.
