Romney raises $18M for presidential campaign
Romney brings in $18M for his presidential campaign, has $12.6 banked for primary contest
By The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) ' Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney raised more than $18 million in the past three months and his campaign has $12.6 million in the bank.

Romney released his fundraising totals Wednesday, and they show him well ahead of his rivals.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty last week reported raising $4.2 million from April through June.

Businessman Herman Cain raised almost $2.5 million in the first weeks of his presidential bid.

Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman has collected $4.1 million, but as much as half of that could be money he's given the campaign himself.
