Romney says immigration decision complicates issue
Romney says Obama's immigration decision will complicate efforts to solve larger policy issue
By The Associated Press

MILFORD, N.H. (AP) ' Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama's decision to stop deporting some younger illegal immigrants will make it harder to solve the country's larger immigration problems. He did not say he would reverse the decision if elected.

Romney said Friday that that the plight of illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children is "an important matter to be considered." But he said Obama's decision will make finding a long-term solution more difficult.

During the Republican presidential primaries, Romney said he would veto the so-called DREAM Act that would have provided a pathway to citizenship for young illegal immigrants who went to college or served in the military.

Obama announced the change in immigration policy on Friday at the White House.
