By The Associated Press

CLEVELAND (AP) ' Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire is back in New York's lineup after missing 13 games with a back injury.

Stoudemire hasn't played since March 24, but he'll start Friday night as the Knicks, who already have wrapped up a playoff spot, visit the Cavaliers. The Knicks went 9-4 without Stoudemire, who is averaging 17.6 points and 8.0 rebounds.

Stoudemire, who had a bulging disk in his back, said he's eager to rejoin the club and blend in with All-Star Carmelo Anthony.

Knicks coach Mike Woodson says he will monitor Stoudemire's minutes, easing him back as the team gets ready for the postseason. Landry Fields had taken Stoudemire's spot in the starting lineup but will return to a reserve role.

Woodson also will rest forward Jared Jeffries against the Cavs.
