Teachers return to Ohio high school where teen allegedly shot 5 students, fatally wounding 3
CHARDON, Ohio (AP) ' Grief counselors are on hand as teachers return to an Ohio school where a 17-year-old allegedly shot five students, fatally wounding three.
The faculty parking lot was jammed Wednesday as teachers came back to Chardon High School, located east of Cleveland.
There was no immediate word on how many teachers showed up and the district says the media will be kept out.
Parents have been encouraged to escort their children back to school Thursday.
A prosecutor described the suspect, T.J. Lane, as "someone who's not well" and said the teen didn't know the victims but chose them randomly.
He hasn't been charged, but the prosecutor says Lane admitted taking a .22-caliber pistol and a knife to the school Monday and firing 10 shots at a group of students.
