US student was 'uncomfortable' with roommate
US student who committed suicide was 'extremely uncomfortable' with roommate, email says
By The Associated Press

NEW BRUNSWICK, New Jersey (AP) ' A judge says jurors in a U.S. webcam spying trial can't hear about an email passage in which the alleged victim referred to his roommate's behavior as "wildly inappropriate."

The judge said jurors could hear about an email passage in which Tyler Clementi said he believed his privacy had been violated. The passage said Clementi was "extremely uncomfortable sharing a room with someone who would act in this manner."

A resident in their dorm testified about the email Wednesday.

Authorities say 20-year-old Dharun Ravi used a webcam to spy on Clementi kissing another man.

Clementi killed himself days later.

Ravi is being tried on charges including invasion of privacy, but he is not charged with Clementi's death.
