US trying to stave off early elimination vs Brazil
Familiar foes meet in unfamiliar territory when Brazil-US play in World Cup quarterfinals
By The Associated Press

DRESDEN, Germany (AP) ' The U.S. is the No. 1 team in the world, a two-time World Cup champion and three-time Olympic gold medalist.

Lose, and it will be the Americans' earliest exit at the biggest event in women's soccer, a tournament they last won in 1999.
