USC identifies slain grad students from China
USC says man, woman killed near campus were electrical engineering grad students from China

LOS ANGELES (AP) ' The University of Southern California says two international students shot and killed in a car near campus were graduate students from China who were studying electrical engineering.

The university says in a statement Wednesday that the woman killed was named Ying Wu and the man was Ming Qu.

The students' hometowns and exact ages are not clear. Police say both were in their 20s.



The couple was sitting in the new BMW when the gunman fired around 1 a.m. Wednesday, shattering the car windows.
