WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) ' Wales dealt a blow to Samoa's chances of reaching the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals for the first time in 16 years with a 17-10 victory Sunday.

Samoa was unable to beat Wales for a third time at a World Cup. It now must face Fiji and defending champion South Africa in matches five days apart to try and advance from Pool D.

England, coming off a victory over Argentina, scored six tries and beat Georgia 41-10 to stay in first place in Pool B.
