Warrants detail sexual relationship, drugs-for-babysitting in case of dead Utah teen
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) ' Court records reveal an apparent drug-fueled, salacious relationship between a North Ogden, Utah, couple and their teenage babysitter who was found dead last month.
Police say Alexis Rasmussen vanished Sept. 10 after babysitting for Eric and Dea Millerberg. The 16-year-old's body was found Oct. 18 off a highway about 30 miles out of town.
Authorities later named the Millerbergs "persons of interest" in Rasmussen's death but have declined to elaborate. Both are jailed on unrelated charges.
In records obtained by KTVX-TV and the Standard-Examiner of Ogden on Tuesday, witnesses say Rasmussen was paid for her babysitting services with drugs and that the three may have been involved in a sexual relationship.
Neither of the Millerbergs' attorneys returned calls from The Associated Press seeking comment. Rasmussen's father also didn't return a call.
