Woman charged in NJ death of 2 Canadian tourists
Woman is charged in stabbing deaths of 2 Canadian tourists near casino in Atlantic City, NJ

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) ' Autopsy reports on two Canadian tourists stabbed across from an Atlantic City casino show one bled to death and the other died from being knifed in the heart.

A woman charged with murdering the two Monday morning laughed, frowned, grimaced and repeatedly asked where her lawyer was during a court appearance Tuesday.

Antoinette Pelzer is charged with stabbing the two women across from Bally's Atlantic City. Pelzer's aunt says she has long suffered from mental illness.



The victims were ages 80 and 47. The older woman died from being stabbed in the heart. The younger woman was attacked while coming to her companion's aid and bled to death.

Their identities are not being released until relatives can be notified.
