LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) - UK Hoops may have dropped Sunday's game to South Carolina, but there were a couple bright spots. UK Hoops freshmen KeKe McKinney and Dorie Harrison had good games. Was PJ Washington fouled?
LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) - Late-game heroics came up just short on Saturday. Three-point baskets from Kevin Knox and Wenyen Gabriel plus a missed free throw gave the Cats a chance in the final seconds of Saturday's game against Florida. Quade Green missed a shot and then PJ Washington did as well, despite drawing contact on the shot. Was he fouled? The officials didn't call anything, and the players say they should've never been in that position.
"This is very, very much encouraging."
LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) - The Cats have now dropped two games in a row. They will return to the court on Tuesday to take on Mississippi State at Rupp. Even with the struggles against Florida, Cal says he's encouraged by what he saw from his team. Check out the video for what he had to say.

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) - The Cats lost a close one to the Florida Gators, 66-64. While there are negatives to take from the game, Coach Cal has been pretty optimistic since the game ended.
