'Insidious: Chapter 2' Places The Horror Genre On Top Of The Global Box Office

James Wan's latest horror film, "Insidious: Chapter 2", a sequel to the first "Insidious" released in 2010,headlining Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson took in $46.05 million at the end of its first weekend in theaters, beating Smurfs 2. Riddick," starring Vin Diesel, was in third position with $16.61 million. The latest film from French director Luc Besson, "The Family," made it into fifth place. The mafia-themed comedy, headlined by Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer, saw revenues of $15 million in its first week in theaters
