A local business is cutting the price for haircuts for first responders, active military members, and veterans on September 11th. Sport Clips in Gulfport is teaming up with the Harrison County Fair Association to offer the free deal. This location in Anchor Plaza off Highway 49 opened on Tuesday and this is their way to give back to the people who sacrifice so much for the community. Sport Clips Owner Jeremy Iydall tells News 25 this is not the only deal they offer for military and first responders. “Yes, on September 11th, we’re going to give our full service for free, but a free MVP upgrade from the regular haircut will be given all year to those people.” Jourdan Hartshorn with the Harrison County Fair Association said, “It’s a really good opportunity to reach out and provide free service to these people that put their lives on the line.” You can head to the Sport Clips location in Gulfport in Anchor Plaza off Highway 49 on September 11th between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Make sure you bring proof if you are an active military member, veteran, or first responder.   [READ MORE]
