Michael Bennett Abandons Boxer Puppy

By DMO Affiliate
Move over, Michael Vick! There's a new name on the NFL's roster of rotten dog owners, Michael Bennett. The 6"4 defensive lineman plays for the Seattle Seahawks, but before that he lived in Tampa Bay as a Buccaneer. Before moving from Florida, Bennett boarded his 4-month old Boxer, Koa, at a kennell called the Lucky Dog, but never looked back. After four months of unanswered attempts to reach him, the Lucky Dog arranged for the abandoned pup to be placed with a boxer rescuer, but was left to eat the NFL star's bill of $5,000! Fortunately, there's a happy ending for little Koa, she was just scooped up by a loving family!
