The Smithsonian Honors Latinos In Music

The Smithsonian has launched a traveling exhibit which honors Latinos in music. The exhibit is called "American Sabor, Latinos In U.S. Popular Music" and it features artists from the past and the present. The list of artists covers genres such as salsa, merengue, jazz and rock. Some of the artists featured include Daddy Yankee, Celia Cruz, Arturo Sandoval, Desi Arnaz, Hector Lavoe, Ivy Queen, La Lupe, Selena, Ruben Blades and Tito Puente. The exhibit will make its way to Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Puerto Rico.
