Dr. Thomas Sedran, President and Managing Director, Chevrolet Europe, provides a statement directed at Chevrolet customers in Europe with regards to GM¯¯¯s announcement of December 5. GM announced on December 5, 2013, it will strengthen its European brand strategy. Beginning in 2016, GM will compete in Europe¯¯¯s volume markets under its respected Opel and Vauxhall brands. The company¯¯¯s Chevrolet brand will no longer have a mainstream presence in Western and Eastern Europe but focus on iconic products in Europe. Cadillac will enhance and expand its distribution network as it prepares for numerous product introductions.
