By DMO Affiliate
A U.S. Marine was killed over the weekend in a skydiving accident during a trip to Australia his wife won on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Thirty-three-year old Gunnery Sgt. Brandon McGraw of North Carolina, was pronounced dead at the scene where emergency services found him after complications during the jump led to a crash landing, according to the Euroa Police Department. His wife, Cherilyn, made a successful tandem jump from the same plane operated by Skydive Euroa, a skydiving and parachuting school in Victoria, Australia. Cherilyn jumped first and landed safely, but something reportedly went awry during Brandon's descent. Police are investigating what may have caused the accident.
