Chevrolet's new fleet of cars will soon be equipped with 4G LTE data transfer. 4G LTE is said to be seven times faster than existing connections, and allows access to a wider range of data and services. Just some of the benefits are an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hot spot, numerous infotainment options like streaming video entertainment and chat for multiple seats, real-time updates and faster running of apps and their downloads. For the U.S. and Canada, GM will rely on the AT&T network, while carrier and supplier relationships in other markets will be announced at a later date.
